looking for an eager Production QC Inspector to support our growing
business.Key Deliverables / Requirements of the Position:---
Accurate and timely inspection of parts using a variety of
precision measuring tools (Romer Arm, CMM, Planar, hand tools,
etc.)--- Understanding and using manufacturing ERP systems.---
Following instructions, procedures, specifications, and
requirements for all jobs.--- Able to complete documentation
properly and accurately according to HAW Quality standards.---
Interpreting customer drawings and performing inspection for
conformance--- Critical thinking to uphold quality requirements in
a fast pace, dynamic environment.--- Preferred understanding of
AS9100, ISO, and Nadcap requirements but not required--- Able to
perform visual weld inspection preferred but not required---
Ability to perform part marking, pressure testing, and daily
calibration activities, and other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:--- High school diploma or GED
required--- 1 - 2 years' experience in a Quality position in a
manufacturing environment.--- Understanding of basic inspection
gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.---
Understanding of drawings, blueprints, and basic GD&T.---
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.--- Ability to
read, interpret, and follow customer specifications, internal
procedures, safety policies, guidelines and work instructions---
Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. if/when needed
Required Technical Competencies - Excellent written and verbal
communication skills - Proficient Computer Skills a. Microsoft
Office b. Experience with ERP Systems; Epicor Vista preferred - A
working understanding of Quality requirements, customer flow-downs,
AS9100/ISO approvals. - Ability to communicate and ask clarifying
questions and understand the workflow in order to properly
troubleshoot issues.
