The position of Correctional Nurse offers part-time and PRN opportunities for LPNs and RNs at St. Croix County Jail, providing flexible evening shifts that promote a healthy work-life balance. Nurses will be responsible for delivering patient care, administering medications, and performing critical assessments while adhering to nursing standards and correctional regulations. Schedule: -3- - 8 hr Evening shifts per week, 2p - 10p

Duties include, but are not limited to: -

• 
  
• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) -
  
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  
• Follow through with established treatment plans
  
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
